2) MATLAB Guide - Desmond J. Higham & Nicholas J. Higham
you will need a djvu document reader for this one

Solution Manual For "Mechanics Of Materials"(3rd Edition) by Beer, Johnston and Dewolf
Get the Solve of "Mechanics Of Materials"(3rd Edition) by Beer, Johnston and Dewolf N.B: Did you guys notice that the copy “Shikkhangon” brought out is actually a copy of the book that was supposed to be in the BUET library? I wonder who checked it out. But the lucky guy sure made some hard cash from it.
We thought of printing the copies of the solution for ourselves but since “Shikkhangon” already brought out a copy (I know it’s a bad copy like the solves of static and dynamic of last term) we are saved from the hassle…So, guys who are ready to give 200Tk for that copy rush to nilkhet as soon as u can…as for me, I am gona stick to my soft copy

Downloadble PDF routines for L2/T2 students of 2007-08 session
Here are the Level 2 / Term 2 routines for the students of Mechanical Engineering (batch 2005) in convenient, pdf format. There are two versions. The full 8''-5'' version and the smaller, portable (carry 'em in your pocket, bags, what ever) 4''-3'' version. You can print them out in whatever order you desire and use them at your free whim. Level-2/Term 2 Routine for ME-05
Portable Level-2/Term 2 Routine for ME-05
View the full post to see the routine previews in flash.
PS: I just decided to make a pdf version of the routine as our trusty BIIS is being too much of a jerk to actually permit us entrance to the full control panel with routines, scholarship information and such. Hope folks would find this useful...infact, they better.

Viva Questions Exp 1
Questions of Exp 2
When someone said to me Exp 1 viva is a piece of cake, I set back and done my homework on Exp 2 but I had a very rough day with Exp 1(Damn you __ ). Any way I could only answer one of the questions and got 6.5!
Flash point / Fire Point:
1. What are these two?
2. If you drawn the picture from this website surely he is going to ask you if there were water flow in this experiment. The answer is No. So, don’t draw the water part from the picture.
3. The colors of the flames.
4. Which one is more important?
5. Why we need to know these Values.
**6. What oil was used in this experiment? (Kerosene) What kind of fuel it is.
Pyrometer:
1. The principal of pyrometer.
2. Shape of the Filament in the Pyrometer.
3. Its Range.
4. When it is used?
Bomb Calorimeter:
- What is temperature Correction? Describe (Haven’t been able to find the answer yet. I am sure I was right but think sir wanted to give me low marks today)
- Basic law of bomb calorimeter.
- How heat is lost in this exp and measures taken to avoid it.
- What is Heating Value?Name Two types of heating value and their definition.
- Which heating value was calculated in this experiment and what measure was taken to make it higher heating value (remember you put some water in the bomb calorimeter?that is the key, it makes the air saturated with water)
Well I am short in questions here. So, if you want to contribute add your questions in the comment and I will add them to the original post.
****CURSE those who don’t tell us the questions asked after the VIVA. Hope them to have a Happy afterlife with the DEVIL****

Thermodynamics Experiment 4 (Mech 2-1)
Thermodynamics Experiment 4
Click Here to download the experiment setup pictures
A wise suggestion to those who are writing report is that you should write down the full calculation and give meanings of symbols used in the calculations in your report. Otherwise you will get “repeat” in report like 7 members of group A24. So, be careful.
Specs:
For 4(b):
Gas Calorimeter:
Made by: Precision Scientific Co.
Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.
Thermometers:
In Fahrenheits Scale
Weighing Scale:
Both in gram and pound (lb) scale
Wet-Gas Meter:
Unit: in liters
one rotation is equal to 3 liters
Made by: Precision Scientific Co.
Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.
For 4(a) writing only names and dimensions of apparatus will do.
So far Sweet sir hasn't taken any viva.
